Elementary Program

Our Elementary School Program is comprised of our youngest learners, those in Quail (roughly ages 5 – 7), Snow Goose (roughly ages 7-10), and Merganser (roughly ages 10-12). As they work and play in community, our elementary kids are learning to balance personal feelings and needs with the feelings and needs of others.

To encourage their blooming social and emotional skills, children in our Elementary Program are offered many opportunities to work together in partnership. They are given autonomy, voice, and responsibility. A daily routine fosters their understanding of themselves as readers, writers, scientists, and mathematicians and empowers them to make their own social and academic choices within the structure of our nurturing learning community.
