The Attic Learning Community offers 4 weeks of summer camp beginning in July! Like everything we do here at The Attic, our summer programming has been thoughtfully crafted with the interests of our learners in mind. Camps are run by our amazing staff who are highly skilled in leading child-centered programs that are engaging, fun and enriching. Our outdoor, nature-based educational camps take place on our beautiful, private 5 acre campus. We keep child to teacher ratios small, allowing us to curate activities and break into small groups to best suit the interests and abilities of the individuals in our programs.

Each week of camp runs Monday through Friday

For children ages 3-5 camp will run from 9am to 12:30pm

For children 6-12 camp will run from 9am-3:30pm

Pack a lunch and get ready to play outside, explore science, practice art, and use your imagination!

SUMMER 2026 OFFERINGS

Pricing will be listed, and registration will be open soon.

Week 1 (July 6th - 10th): Exploring Art in the Natural World $475

Join us for a fabulous week of creativity where each day we’ll explore different art mediums in our outdoor classroom spaces. Campers will have the opportunity to experiment with paint, paper, collage, fiber arts, and murals, and will bring home their creations each day! Campers will make their own paint from materials we collect in nature. We will also learn the process of papermaking with blenders, recyclables, and natural materials, as well as origami, paper mache, and epic paper airplanes. In fabric arts, we will start exploring different fabric dyeing techniques including flower hammering, splatter painting, tie dying and much more! On our last day of art week, campers will practice their favorite art activities from the week on a large canvas of their own, as well as work together on a large mural on The Attic campus!

Week 2 (July 13th - 17th): Water Science! $475

Our  private 5-acre campus features a beautiful creek that offers rich opportunities for exploring water science.  This week, we’ll build boats from foraged materials and float them down the creek. Campers will try making dams and experiment with the way that water moves around different materials. We’ll have sink and float experiments and many other science tools to explore. Campers will have plenty of water play opportunities like building a water chute down our big grassy hill, making soapy solutions and foamy bubble blowers, relay races, splashing in the creek, water balloon games and so much more! Campers will get to bring home their bubble solutions and bubble blowers, their handmade boats, and a love of science and appreciation for the water in our environment!

Week 3 (July 20th - 24th: Magic at The Attic! $475

Join us for a thrilling week where campers get to experience the magic of attending Hogwarts in the great outdoors where we’ll learn about astronomy, wand making, history of magic, and herbology. Ever wondered what a giant vat of oobleck felt like? How to make a color changing potion? How to make the bubbliest of bubble potions? Or, maybe what ingredients go into an ice cream potion? Campers will boil, mix, harvest, read and record recipes, and even make some deliciously edible potions! Does your student delight in the miniature world of butterflies and fairies? Perhaps they are fascinated by the sneaky habits of hidden wildlife? Campers will get to explore the world of magical creatures with fairy house making, peering into the microscopic world beneath our feet, wildlife study, and butterfly and fairy wing art. Campers will get to bring home their magic wands, potions, art projects, and more!

Week 4 (July 27th - 31st): Building with Nature! $475

Our last week of camp will be all about building! We’ll be working with foraged materials like sticks, logs, and stones, as well as other building materials like cardboard, Legos, clay and more! Campers will work together to build a fort in the woods including a waterproof style of shelter called a debris hut! We’ll build bug houses, model our dream homes out of clay, and even try our hand at building a dam in the creek! Campers will also get the chance to participate in a project where we turn recyclable materials into forts, inventions, and anything else from their imagination with the use of many different building tools! Campers will get to bring home their clay projects, their building inventions, and the knowledge of how to construct a shelter in the woods.
