Nurturing in children a sense of self, a passion for learning, community, and childhood.
Siblings / Special Needs

The Attic highly values family and encourages family involvement in our program; therefore, applicants with siblings currently enrolled at The Attic are given special consideration. We will make every effort to accommodate siblings; however, we must look at each child as an individual and think about his or her needs, and the needs of the existing community when making enrollment decisions.

Special Needs

Each Attic family is ultimately responsible for the emotional, social and academic needs of their child.  Families agree to work in cooperation with the Directors, Teachers, and Specialists to best meet these needs.  The Attic is not set up to screen for or serve special needs that require professional diagnosis and treatment.  These might include, but are not limited to, speech, hearing, vision, neurological, and psychiatric abnormalities.  It is the sole responsibility of the parents, in cooperation with their health care provider, to recognize, diagnose and treat any special needs and to inform the Director and Teachers as to ways that your child can be supported at The Attic.
