Admissions Procedure

  1. Learn about the Attic
    1. We highly recommend that you read through the Explore the Attic, Admissions, Community, and Academics sections of this website, as well as peruse our Recommended Reading List, especially the favorites section, before touring or applying.

  2. Tour the Attic
    1. Touring the Attic is an essential part of our admissions process and is required prior to an enrollment offer. To schedule a tour, please contact
    2. We do not require you to tour before you apply.

  3. Submit an Enrollment Application: First Pool Deadline is January 14, 2019.
    1. Complete an Attic Application (link at top of page).
    2. Pay the $50 application fee using the Paypal button below, or mail to: The Attic, Attn: Admissions, PO Box 1668, Woodinville, WA, 98072.  
    3. Your application is complete when we have received two Reference Forms and the application fee.  You will receive an email confirmation when your application is received.
    4. Applications submitted after the first pool deadline will be considered on a rolling basis.

  4. Submit References
    1. Ask two references to complete a Reference Form  
    2. All reference communication is confidential.

  5. Attend Parent Interview
    1. If there is an enrollment opening for which your child is potentially eligible, we will schedule a meeting with you during which we will review your application and any questions you may have.

The Attic Learning Community Non-Discrimination Policy

Complaints of discrimination and/or sexual harassment should be reported directly to the Executive Director and will be investigated promptly and thoroughly.
