The
Attic Learning Community strives to serve as a model learning community
for Educators. To this end, The Attic has hosted countless Professional
Development workshops and classes for Educators and parents, usually
with optional college credit or clock hours available. For more information on our current and past workshops, please visit the Professional Development Page.
The Attic Learning Community supports homeschoolers by organizing and presenting the Pacific Northwest Homeschool College Fair. This annual event, attended by over 400 people annually, is held in Bothell, Washington. The Homeschool College Fair features 30-35 colleges and universities from around the United States and Canada, informational seminars focusing on college-bound homeschoolers, and homeschool related vendors with exceptional services and supplies. For more information on the Homeschool College Fair, please visit www.HomeSchoolCollegeFair.com or the Homeschool Resources Page.
The Attic supports our local community in many ways. For more information, please visit our Community Work.
The
Attic opens some of it's optional classes to the greater homeschooling
community. In addition, some current and previous Attic teachers offer
Thursday or Friday classes for homeschoolers on the Attic site. Courses available, fees, and dates will change from year to year. For more information on homeschooling classes, please visit the Homeschool Resources Page.
