Art
Art at The Attic, for students of all ages, follows a workshop approach. The children choose from a variety of art offerings each week. In the past, drumming, pencil drawing, copper wire sculpture, origami, charcoal drawing, watercolor painting,
knitting, quilt-making, art studio, card making, movie-making, and more have been offered by teachers, parents, and students. As with any successful workshop approach, there are authentic "events" in which the children showcase their work. In previous years we have had "art museums", an evening of sparkling cider and hors-d'oeuvres with the children's artwork displayed, and family and friends invited.
